Good Morning Straub Families!

We hope and pray that each of you had an amazing Winter break and was able to spend some much needed time with your family. Our wish is that all our families know how much we love and appreciate you and your students and cannot wait to see them back tomorrow. It is the laughter and learning of students that make a school feel like a home.
We have some exciting plans for our New Years celebration when we return as we always hope that the New Year is even better than the one we just ended.
Remember, our doors open at 7:20 for buses and drop-offs and our day here starts at 7:50. We can't wait to see all your smiling faces back at Straub.
See you tomorrow!

Good Evening Straub!
I have waited to send out our weekly information due to the weather and changes. I am so bummed that we have missed today and tomorrow due to all the exciting things we have planned here. Santa had put our students on his NICE list and was visiting with us tomorrow, but now we will have an NTI day. Tomorrow will be NTI #5 for Mason County. If your child needs any assistance or help with anything, please reach out to our teachers or the front office. We are here to help you with anything we can and cannot wait to have our students back.
We will pack everything we can into the days we have this week. Your children may be tired when they get home, but we are going to celebrate this exciting time of the year.
Happy Holidays and see you all soon!!!

We hope you have enjoyed this weekend and are ready for this week. Fingers crossed we do not receive any of the white stuff the weather man has been discussing. Hoping it stays further southeast of us!
Please see the Sunday Communication for any upcoming events, information and Straub News.

Good evening Straub Families! We hope that each of you had an amazing Thanksgiving break and had some much needed rest and relaxation. We hope our students rested up and are ready to rock the next few weeks at Straub. We will start our December newsletter next week. Our building will be turning into a Winter Wonderland starting this week and magical things are starting to happen. Our trees are up and ready for the kids tomorrow morning. Tutoring- Monday and Tuesday Straub Strikers- Wednesday Penguin shopping with our amazing PTO is this week during Gym class. Our PTO members and volunteers will be there to help our students shop for their loved ones. Nutcracker performance is this week on Thursday. Our Strikers will be performing at the December Board Meeting at Straub on December 15 at 6pm. The weather is calling for some nasty freezing rain Mo day into Tuesday, so be sure you have your child's NTI packets just in case. Hopefully, we do not get any of this nasty weather and we are smooth sailing through Christmas. As always, if you need anything, please call our office at 564-9047. See you Monday! Mrs. Mason

Good afternoon families! We hope everyone had an amazing weekend. This week ahead should be a fairy quiet week. We will begin our Amira Reading intervention assessment during Library/Character Strong classes this week. Please see count action about this amazing program that was sent home this week. Our 2nd grade Veterans Day program will be Thursday, November 13th at 6 pm in partnership with the MCHS Jazzbb band. Smile club will be moving to the 2nd Thursday of the month due to holidays coming up. This is a change to the weekly newsletter. Don't forget our cereal box drive. These will be in conjunction of all schools to add to avoid drive for our families in the district. NTI packets 1-4 went home this week with our students. The weather is calling for some ugly white stuff this week, but we hope those packets are not needed. It is too early for crazy weather!! 😬 See everyone tomorrow.
