Dear Straub Parents and Families:
Straub Elementary participates in the Title 1, Part A program under the Every Student Succeeds Act and our school functions as a schoolwide program. A Title I schoolwide program is designed to upgrade the entire educational program in order to improve the achievement of all students.
The purpose of this survey is to gather information on how well the school communicates and supports parents of children participating in the Title 1 program. This yearly evaluation is to ensure that the district’s parent and family engagement policy is effective in improving the academic quality of all schools served by Title I. Your feedback will be used to improve parent and family engagement activities in the future.

Straub Families! Please see the changes to the end of the year school calendar. We are so thankful that our board has put a lot of time and consideration into allowing our students to have the best end of the year as well as Summer possible. We know that a lot of families have trips planned for Spring break as well as the beginning of the Summer and this is the best way to allow everyone to make-up the time needed. Plus, this allows us more instructional time with our amazing students each day.
Our school Day will start at 7:50 and END AT 3:15 everyday from April 6th to May 22nd.
May 19th - previously out for Election Day, now a day in IN SCHOOL
May 21st- now a whole day - 3:15 DISMISSAL
May 22nd - NEW LAST DAY OF SCHOOL 3:15 DISMISSAL
